Nicotine (Tobacco, E-Cigarette, Vaping) Cessation

At McKinley, we recognize just how challenging it can be to quit using nicotine products. Whether it is your first quit attempt or tenth, if quitting nicotine is something you’ve been considering, we are here to help.

McKinley Health Center can provide education, individual cessation appointments, and prescribe medications to support those looking to quit the use of nicotine products (e.g., cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, e-cigarettes, vape pens, etc.).

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign students can meet one-on-one with McKinley providers to learn more about helpful cessation products, resources, and support.

Education and cessation appointments are free for eligible students. Non-nicotine cessation products and nicotine replacement therapies are available.
