About McKinley Health Center

McKinley Health Center is the official campus health center at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, here to serve our students. The Health Service Fee, which is paid as part of your enrollment, covers most of your services and healthcare needs at McKinley.

Emergency Care

McKinley can provide most of your non-emergency healthcare. Emergency care is provided by area hospitals. If you have an emergency, call 911. Carle Foundation Hospital or OSF HealthCare Heart of Mary Medical Center have emergency departments and ambulance service. 

Primary Care Providers

As an Illinois student, you are automatically assigned a Primary Care Provider at McKinley when you enroll. The goal is for you to see the same McKinley provider while you are at the University.  Having a consistent provider at McKinley, who is familiar with you and your needs, increases the quality of care you receive.  You can change providers if you want, but you are a McKinley patient and all of our providers are here to keep you well to excel!

Visiting McKinley

McKinley's location is easily accessible to most of the Illinois campus. We're located at 1109 S. Lincoln Ave. on the south-east side of campus. There is metered parking but check the parking tips section before your visit.
