Preventive Health Services

The Women’s Health clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 am–5 pm. Preventive health care, which includes routine examinations, health education and birth control options, can be scheduled by calling 217-333-2700 and selecting the Women’s Health department.

Special Concerns

If you are having specific concerns or symptoms such as abnormal vaginal bleeding, unusual vaginal odor or discharge, breast concerns, vaginal skin abnormalities or symptoms of a bladder infection with vaginal discharge, please call 217-333-2700 and ask to speak with the Women’s Health office nurse for assistance in scheduling an appointment. There are now limited online appointments available.

Walk-in Hours

Walk-in hours are daily from 2:45 pm–4:15 pm. The walk-in hours provide an opportunity to speak with a provider for minor, non-urgent issues that do not require an examination. The walk-in clinic is reserved for birth control refills when a patient is current with their routine exams, emergency contraception or questions of a minor nature requiring a brief answer/discussion. Patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

Physical examinations and testing are not performed during walk-in hours.
