Reminders for requester:

  • Need to have at least 10 students in attendance
  • Need to post flyers on your floor, hall, etc. for the event at least one week in advance
  • Send out Emails to residents
  • Provide incentives for the audience (small prize or food)
  • Meet the presenter at least 5-10 minutes beforehand in the commons area or outside the front door (especially if they don’t have access)
  • Please let us know if anyone attending this program may require any accommodations

Description of Workshops:

This hour-long workshop gives participants hands on experience with four relaxation techniques including shoulder/neck massage, deep breathing, guided imagery, and progressive muscle relaxation exercise. You will walk away with some stress management tips, ideas for relaxation, and feel a renewed energy from refreshing your mind and body.

Long days mixed with little energy is a stressful combination. Learn to simplify your stress during this interactive workshop using time management skills and relaxation exercises to help reduce tension and leave you feeling ready to take on the day.
